We are still in the early stages of crypto and steemit. I would expect a lot of volatility for at least a year. I'v found buying and holding to be the best strategy for me. Trying to time the market has not worked well, but I do buy the dips.
Agree, I traded before and try to beat the market, I lost.... I changed to buy and hold, which turned out to a way better strategy!

Hey @elyaque - You're exactly right. The idea is to not let your emotions get the best of you to where you see the market turning so you either buy too soon or sell too early.
The old Wall Street saying goes: Bulls, Bears Make Money, Pigs Get Slaughtered.
The market will always rebound...cryptocurrency's volatility is not for the faint of heart. If you can't be in it for the long haul, don't bother getting in.

Steem is right at botton of trend line and it is only a matter of time when btc will breakout above. Every crypto will move up then and steem will boost at least 30% when this breakout will happen.

Everyone is panic selling at the moment ( not me however ) im in it for the long haul, people selling right now dont understand how money is made, and how quickly it can be lost, make sure to do your research everyone

Btc mediates half of the market it's normal to be on a down wave atm.. When btc drops most the coins drop.
Currently waiting to see what happens after the soft and hard from tha are coming our way.
Hopefully we don't loose structural integrity too hard and blow up
