I am glad to see steem price has not crash that much and i hope will rebound soon .

All of the crypto-currencies will continue to fall in price, some drastically on August 1, 2017 and beyond due to the shit show that is Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. It'll drag on till the end of the year, so just be ready to pick up some Steem on the super cheap! 😃
I think the BTC debacles have cone to an end its not 100% set in stone but it sppears that segwit has been agreed by all parties and it is going ahead, thus avoiding a possible hard fork. This is ehy I would presume there was a big climb back from $1,800 btc

Ok thanks. So is this being done with a hard fork or not? Will the bitcoin cash be the segwit coin, ir the reverse as with eth and etc?
@elyaque thanks for sharing the witness voting info. I would also emphasize people should interact with the witnesses as much as possible.
One reason I avidly support @timcliff and was one of the first to come out and endorse him in the beginning is because of how he takes time to educate the Steemit community on upcoming forks, changes and code related matters as well as writing a regular report on the witnesses (what projects they are doing, funding and so on).
Please take some time to learn, know and vote on your witnesses.

Still can't understand the real influence of witnesses!
Some of them are developing useful stuff like @good-karma for example, or @roelandp organizing Steemfest etc.
