Advice to Comment - My Experience

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

Hello friends of @Steemit!

I want to tell you today an experience first and with this I give you some advice on how to comment on this platform. For those who already have some time as users of Steemit is not a secret that making comments can give us good rewards, there are even those who say that they have taken more profit making comments than creating content.

Approximately 2 months ago I was navigating in the "Trending" of Steemit looking for articles of art, of Art? Yes of Art! I like to see what the great designers that publish here do, to leave them some opinion, I am not an expert in any of that but I like to see authentic publications that are made for Steemit.

Meanwhile, I went to "Scroll Down" and saw that post was interesting, remember all this in the #Art label of trending, I found a post with the #nsfw label that for those who do not know it, are the acronyms of an old slang of internet that means "Not Safe for Work" used generally in forums to mark post that have explicit sexual content.

Yes! I know! I was looking for graphic art, "But the curiosity killed the cat", how steemit in your default configuration blocks the post image with this tag, I decided to visualize the article, and "Zasss!" It was there!

The post contains 6 drawings in black and white, at first I thought it was quite strange, it was quite abstract for my little understanding of the graphic arts, but to me it reflected two people or ¿ more people? "Making love" that's good!

My comment was:

Strange but i like, see someone making love, it is a pleasure always! :D

The author of this great post, upvote my comment, leaving me a reward of 0.22 SBD, not bad for a comment of 57 letters, I made articles with more than 500 words and only earn half of that reward.

I confess I never thought about receiving any reward, first I am not an expert in art, and because "Myself" does not consider my comment as deserving of that upvote.

Then, reading the other comments, I noticed that he liked that, because I took the time to "analyze his work", that little comment was enough to describe what he was trying to express.

I appreciated the author criticizes a lot the users that just use the comments system to "Say hello" or say "I like your work" or "Excellent post" comments where people do not contribute anything.

In case you did not know:

This platform limits the "Bandwidth" to comment.

Wasting this bandwidth is wasting time and money.

My advice is:

We must strive a little more to find quality articles, read and comment with sustenance, leave comments that contribute to the post, that is very appreciated by the bloggers of steemit, a good comment can be voted and give you more rewards than 50 futile greetings. Also remember that this will make you have more followers.

Indeed, Eye likewise realized the value of commenting truthfully on articles, one does not need to relay many words in order to cause waves within a recipient.
