  1. Idanre Hills
    The Idanre hills are located in Ondo state, 3000 ft above sea level. Other attractions include the Agbogun footprint, Omi Aopara (Thunder water) and Arun river (believed to have healing properties)

  2. Ngwo Pine Forest
    This beautiful forest of pine trees also contains a small cave system as well as a waterfall. Ngwo Forest is located in Enugu State.

  3. Ibeno Beach
    Stretching over 89 kilometres, Ibeno Beach is believed to be the longest beach in West Africa. Ibeno beach is located in Akwa Ibom State.

  4. Ogbunike Cave
    Ogbunike cave is a big sandstone cave that has been designated a UNESCO heritage site. It is located in Anambra state.

  5. Kano City Walls
    The walls around the ancient city of Kano are 14-kilometre baked earth structure. Closely associated with the walls are the Emir’s palace, Dala Hills and Kurmi market.

  6. Ancient Nok Settlement
    One can take a trip to the ancient Nok site where the various terracotta figurines were discovered in Jaba, Kaduna State.

  7. Obudu Mountain Resort
    This is located on the Obudu Plateau in Cross River state, close to Cameroon. Obudu mountain resort is famous for its semi-temperate climate and scenic views.

  8. Ikogosi Warm Springs
    Located in Ekiti state, Ikogosi warm spring is one of the eight warm springs in the world. Ikogosi also has a cold spring which forms a confluence with the warm spring.

  9. Gashaki-Gumpti National Park
    This is Nigeria’s largest national park. It contains diverse fauna and flora. Gashaki-Gumpti national park is located in Taraba state.

  10. Lekki Conservation Centre
    The Lekki conservation centre is a 78-hectare conservation site located in Lagos state. It was established to protect mangrove, flora and fauna from the urbanization.

  11. Erin Ijesha Waterfalls
    This waterfall is in Osun state. It has seven levels which visitors can climb and a village at the top.

  12. Alok Ikom (Akwanshi) Monoliths
    There are small stone sculptures found around Ikom in Cross River state. There are over 300 monoliths in 35 different locations.

  13. Mambilla Tea Estate
    Located in Taraba state, the Mambilla plateau is the home of the highland tea produced in several estates in the region. Various waterfalls abound on the Mambilla plateau.

  14. Gurara Falls
    This is one of the most beautiful falls in Nigeria. It is located between Minna and Suleja in Niger State (an hour’s drive from Abuja).

  15. Osun-Oshogbo Sacred Grove
    This grove which is bordered on one side by the Osun river, is tied directly to the worship of the goddess, Osun. It is located in Oshogbo, Osun state.

  16. Awhum Waterfall and Cave
    Located in Enugu state and set in a beautiful valley, this waterfall is believed to have healing properties by locals.

  17. Tarkwa Bay
    This little paradise is located off the coast of Lagos state. With pristine beaches and many hangout spots, Tarkwa bay is a delight.

  18. Yankari National Park
    At the Yankari national park in Bauchi state, one can have a wonderful safari experience with the many animals residing in the park.

  19. Matsirga Waterfalls
    Another treasure from Kaduna state. Matsirga waterfall is a spectacular group of waterfalls worth seeing.

  20. Olumo Rock
    Olumo rock is located in the heart of the Ogun state capital. It is both a shrine and tourist attraction. It has two new elevators for getting to the top, better than the old stairs.
