MINI-HOW-TO-STEEMIT-GUIDE #2 - CENTER, LINE BREAK and ANCHOR tags (for links on images)
I have decided to publish my mini-guides as individual posts so that they can be referenced later. I generally post things like this in comments for my friends. This guide was originally written for my friend @mrfunkymonk.
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR POSTS APPEARANCE WITH SOME BASIC TAGS
I personally use < tags >, not to be confused with #tags, which are like secret codes so it looks like what you want. Tags go inside < these symbols > , without the spaces.
I'll use spaces here so you can see them, tags disappear when used properly, they just do their jobs!
< br >
This guy adds extra line breaks! He doesn't have to be 'closed' like other tags, use him and forget him.
< center > and < /center >
These guys will center anything in between them! The tag with a / says, 'stop here'; this is called 'closing the tag'.
Here's an example I use frequently to separate sections:

< center > -------------------------------< /center >
< br >
Now the bonus tag!
The anchor tag can be used, among a few other things, to add a link to an image! When the image is clicked, it activates the anchor link.

Remember to remove the spaces so they dissapear and do their job ;p

ufff im very new to that but its always excellent to learn something new , as i understand votes can be done also after first 6 days ---- but no steem get generated ? YES ? and how is it with D Tube ?
yes its true, votes after 7 days do not add steem, not sure what it does to voting power....dtube just creates a post on the steem blockchain, also cannot generate rewards after six and a half days.
The half day difference is where it cannot receive upvotes but can recieve flags.
Great i asked few people allready ,most where unsure and this makes sense so far hmmm i also cannot take down the video and repost it ? To get steem again ? i dont wanna sound greedy its just a lot of work and im the friend of efficiency 8)
Great question! Once it is locked into the blockchain, it is there for good! But that doesn't mean you cannot post it again, you can embed youtube or dtube links in future posts!
I wouldn't recommend posting the same content over and over again though, some people might consider that spam - but if you have new comments about the video there is no reason you couldnt post an 'updated' post!
