That person is not worthy, neither are you, neither am I, but who is, do things my way or else
I think some people are still not realizing how unique a place steemit is.
They still seem to try to view it from the perspective of things that have existed before. They lash out at people who are not harming them. In fact those people they lash out at are the ones most likely to help them achieve what they want.
They believe things are only fair, if they are on the terms they have fixed in their own minds.
I started to respond to someone on a post... I kind of liked where it was going so I thought I'd post it here instead.
Are you familiar with the term BETA (in upper left corner). That means this is still under construction.
Right now this is a kind of like a huge structure built by engineers and architects.
They have the money.
They have started voting (handing money to other people) and those people will spread out and vote (handing money to other people).
Yet this building has an odd property never seen before.
When you walk in the door your pocket starts filling up with money REALLY slowly without you doing a single thing. It is almost like the money in your pockets is capable of self replication.
If someone with money they got from the architects or engineers walks past you and says HEY I LIKE WHAT YOU SAID suddenly you have more money, and your money is going to town reproducing in your pocket....
It is crazy.
You decide to speak to someone new and from your lips tiny amounts of money trickle out and start going to town in that new person's pocket. You gave them money. It didn't cost you anything.
You notice some new people see an engineer with their big stacks of cash and they get angry.
They get angry when they see the engineer talk to someone that they don't think is worthy.
The engineer should not be granting those people money, they should only give to people that new person deems are worthy.
It doesn't matter to the new person that no one was hurt by the action. It doesn't matter to the new person that EVERY time that happens there is another person capable of enriching MORE people in the community.
All they know is THIS ISN'T HOW IT should be in their mind. They try really hard to fit what they are seeing inside of some familiar box from outside the doors of this building. They miss the point... they miss the wonder.
The money... it is flowing from words, sounds, images, information, and community.
Some of them clue in and realize this is a new beast, a new place, a new thing. It does not fit in with the world outside of its doors.
A person making steem power DID not take steem power from anyone, but it did increase their potential to spread the steem power.
I've written some other posts on this and some people thanked me. I am really only trying to help people by posting this. I really dislike seeing the fighting and anger over something we should all be happy about.
Not a Ponzi Scheme - seems like a new paradigm - up votes regardless of topic help us all
It's all in the attitude!
We need some of those nifty Ben Franklin glasses from National Treasure so we can adjust the lenses and see things from a different perspective.
@dwinblood you make it easy to understand that steemit can be a place for good when you look at it from a new perspective.
I suggest that it is possible to expanded your imagination to allow for you to be open to things you were not open to which is what you advocate on viewing steemit as something completely different than anything we have seen before.
Thanks for your contributions!
Thanks for sharing @strangerarray that may indeed help some people. Your other post I read earlier today is good as well:

Money is involved, you know what does that mean ? A RAT RACE ... and as in every rat race, there will be punches under the belt fueled by envy.
best thing trolls at those bridges also getting paid thank you in advance for crossing my bridge
Haha.... that's true trolls can get paid as well. Ultimately, I don't care. Trolls vote too. They share steem power every time they vote. :)
Very well illustrated and written! I will be honest and say I didn't totally understand how this platform worked, but after actually seeing steemit at work I quickly opened my mind! We need more blogs like these to be trending! Thanks for your hard work!
I'm trying this is not really the type of thing I thought I'd have to ever be writing. I'm seeing growing down vote brigades, and anger, and posts with whale killing implied and all kinds of crazy things.
This is a Paradigm Shifting platform yet some people are still trying to view it like they would something that has existed before. It truly does not hurt ANY of us when someone wins big in steem power, it actually potentially helps all of us. Now if that person votes on your post you are going to get a big reward BECAUSE they won. If we did things the way people angry are wanting then really no one would make anything and the platform would fail. This is in beta and the steem power has not spread around like it eventually will.
This should be obvious because the weekends kind of suck because the BIG GUYS (Engineers in my story) are likely at home for the weekend and not messing with steemit. This too should change as those engineers up vote more people. They obviously want it to succeed so they are not going to use our personal opinions on what is great. They are going to try to vote on things they think could attract a lot of new people, especially people that have never been into crypto currencies before. This ultimately is a WIN WIN situation for all of us.
Absolutely! The more people that come in the better. I don't think people are understanding if they have an account, and are active by atleast up voting they will benefit from just making a free account. I'm not worried the people complaining will eventually leave, and steemit will be a better place because of it! I really enjoy steemit. It's only going to get better!
