A new age of opportunities for the thinkers?

The things that receive value change a lot with the times. Physical might and prowess in combat, insights on the functioning of our minds and the reality we inhabit, craftmanship and skills for the creation of physical goods among many others.

The present seems to be a time where results are valued more than anything else, the production of objects from which profits can be obtained and a need for constant development to be ahead in a constant battle for supremacy in a world ruled by the economy. From this we get the conflict to force the evolution of our environment and at the same time the activities that aren't productive in the ways the society of the time considers valuable become limited by the need to compete in order to survive.

At least that's what the world has taught me over the last years but with the rise of cryptocurrencies and the ease to share information thanks to that wonderful tool called internet the "love for wisdom" may regain its rightful place once again. Steemit seems to be a nice step in that direction, giving the opportunity to make a profit by sharing content of as many subjects as there are ideas, a way for the modern thinker to thrive in a world that values the product more than the means of production. Well, those are just some random thoughts on the subject and is nice to have a place to share them.
