What happens to dreams that never come through?
Having a dream is superb. But working towards actualizing them is most beautiful. We all have our personal goals and aspirations. Show me one person on earth who has no plans or expectations whatsoever for his/her future and I will point at a dying man to you. Yes! dreams are what keeps us awake and alive.
For me, I can't afford to not dream. Infact every new day of my life births a new dream. I can't imagine life without my dreams. Wait, am I the only one like this? Hmmmm. Sure I am not. I meet people everyday who are after something; pursuing their deeams, planning and working hard but doesn't seem to be making any progress in the actualization of their dreams. I noticed a simple reason why most people don't accomplish their dreams and purpose in life. The simple reason is setting unrealistic goals although that is just one out of majority. Unrealistic expectations kills dreams faster than a gun to the face.
In whatever you do it is very important that you use logical reasoning and principles. We often forget that we can never really lie to ourselves.
These are the major factors that can kill your dreams without your knowledge
Setting unrealistic goals
Being too dependent on another person
Doubting your abilities to do wonders
Fear of taking a step
When next you're caught up in these situations it is advised that you quickly make appropriate adjustments. There is no two ways about it. It's either you fight for yourself or you allow yourself to fight you.
What then happens when your dreams don't come to life? You simply adjust to the right utmosphere.
When dreams don't come through it simply means that you are not getting somethings right. Find and work on the things you aren't doing right. Readjust your set goals, believe in your abilities, don't be afraid to take that bold step!
Dreams will always be realised and accomplished when the right steps are taken. Please do know that "destiny delayed is not destiny denied". You shall always soar above the skies when you carry the right wings with you.
