CYBERSECURITY IN THE ERA OF INTERNET OF THINGS..........

hey guys today i am here to talk about the importance of cyber security in today's world............
now days there is a huge buzz around related to internet of things, 4 g , 5 g ,cloud mobility and off course cyber security......
this article can be useful for looking for starting a new carrier .
under internet of things all the devices which runs on electricity can be connected to internet or a network can be established..
SOUNDS GREAT.......

1)-HOME AUTOMATION---means Iot can be applied to smart home automation like all your fans,lights,doors,windows,appliances can be connected together over a network and can be remotely controlled through your smart phone.while leaving from office u can switch on ur air conditioner remotely so that when u reach home u get cool room.

2)-SMART TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM---means till now there is a fix timer present in traffic lights there is no intelligence it be closed for fix time wheither the road is empty or fully filled.
but under smart traffic management system ,sensors will be placed across the road and sensing the live traffic density ,and sending the data on the centralized computing system where the artifical intelligence(AI) algorithm will be running ,and will be manipulating the traffic lights intelligently on the basis of live traffic

3)- SMART POWER GRID---your power mcb board can be controlled and monitored remotely..

4)-INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION----all the machinery and devices can be connected and remotely controlled and can be applied to work.

5)-SMART AVIATION---- all aircraft can be connected over network and navigated controlled remotely
like this so many examples.............................
it all sounds great but this is what we all are thinking positively.
UNDER IOT SECURITY IS THE MAIN CONCERN...........
till date we dont take cyber security as a big deal ...
we came to know in terms of cyber attack is something that some one have hacked some ones website ,hacked the computer remotely,transferred money illegally..
WHICH SOUNDS TO BE SOFT, BECAUSE ALL THESE ATTACKS ARE NOT EFFECTING US IN REAL WORLD.....
but now the cyber attacks will be effecting physical world...as all the devices runs all electricity will be made smart by putting embedded computer into it..

1)--as i have given the example of home automation under which all your home appliances,doors,light,fans can be connected over a network......WHAT IF SOME ONE HACK UR HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM...
he can create a paranormal activity for u in your own home... he can switch off the fan/lights, lock u in your room,start any appliance without your instruction...
2)--under smart traffic management system i hacker hacked it he can suddenly make all signal red /green which can led to massive road accidents..
3)-- if attacker got access to power grid he can perform the power blackout in the city or area,he can turn your mcb power board into a live bomb and blast your residence remotely..
4)--if attacker hacked the fight control system, he can change the altitudes and different parameters of an flying aircraft and led to air crash..
5)-- in industrial automation , he can remotely effect the massive production,malfunctioning of machines..
IN COMING FUTURE CYBER ATTACKS WILL BE EFFECTING THE PHYSICAL WORLD AND THE WORST PART IS ------
AGE IS JUST A NUMBER,AND ATTACKER/HACKER NEED NOT BE PRESENT AT THE SITE WHERE HE IS PERFORMING THE CYBER ATTACK....
HE WILL BE SITTING IN THE BASEMENT OF ANY MALL,PARKING...AND WILL BE CHASING FORTUNE 500 COMPANY...CAUSING MASSIVE DESTRUCTION..
YOU NEED A LAPTOP WITH A INTERNET CONNECTION THAT S IT TO PERFORM ATTACKS
UNDER CYBER SPACE YOU DON'T KNOW THAT YOU ARE UNDER CYBER ATTACK..

NOW SCOPE OF CARRIER IN CYBER SECURITY...
there is /will be hugedemand of cyber security proffessionals in the comming future..
the companies hire penetration testers commonly known as pentesters.. to test there applications and systems..
money is also good in this profession..because u r also a hacker but hacking for good cause to find weakness in the system so as to inform owner ,so any one else attacker/hacker should not take advantage of it.........
