You are absolutely right ... I don't use Facebook anymore and feel more free and less superficial. Traditional social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, ... focalize on individuality and ego. It also influences peoples thoughts and perception. I personally like Steemit for its authenticity and also for the possibility to interact anonymously with the world. Yes, exactly, that's where the danger lies really, when these platforms begin to skew our perception and engagement with reality, it becomes hollow, ingenuous and self-manipulative. Appreciate your words. Already following you!
