It will benefit the community mainly because it will provide a multilingual place for Steemians to trade their SBD for other currencies at a fair price. This would encourage people of languages other than English and Korean to sign up and start using. One can argue that that is already happening, but those are typically users that don't invest any money. When the currency is usable in all languages and in all countries, then the real investors will sign up.
