Let's call it a success!

We just had our meetup today! We had more than 30 people. Steemians and upcoming Steemians alike. A great mix of unique individuals joined us in this event.

I present you this preview post of the event while we're waiting for the photos from our official photographer @wilbejel. Thanks for @luvabi for organizing the event, @grazz for assisting us in everything, @sasha.shade for choosing an awesome venue, and a lot more.

Here's the first selfie. I actually came with my wife @haneun to the event.

There were shirts by me and @haleyaerith that were worn in the event and we also set up pre-sales as well. (Just discord us or comment here if you wish to order one)

@officialfuzzy actually gave beyondbits for this event, a total of 200 beyondbits for the raffle and more giveaways were given (early birds got 5 beyondbits each too). Here you see @luvabi with @craftech, awarding him 3rd prize of 50 beyondbits. Another winner for 2nd prize was chosen, lucky, cause it's me - got 50 beyondbits. @monkeypattycakes won 1st prize with 100 beyondbits!

We had speakers! A lot!

@sasha.shade talked about the Steemit website, welcome remarks, and making posts that are "Koala Tea". As well as nee things going on @teamphilippines within PALnet.

I was a speaker too: I talked about contests and steemgigs, and how to earn in general in steemit. I wasn't ready and had stage fright so I was a bit speaking in circles. Lol.

@jeanellybee spoke about converting your Steem/SBD to PHP and other stuff about cryptos and exchanges.

@luvabi had talks about using the website too and using whaleshares and beyondbits (pretty important since we're giving those away in this event).

@cloh76 who you see in the photo talked about witnesses mainly and was very welcoming when being asked question.

@sasha.shade, @cloh76, & @surpassinggoogle had exchanges of talks that were very good source of information for all attendees.

It's amazing, meeting these people that are eay taller than you, I thought it's a basketball meetup. Right? @decsterity @chinito? Even @craftech is taller than me and he's 16.

I pray we host more events like this to continuously grow the Steemit community in the Philippines. We spent good 3 hours on this event and it was all worth it!
