RE: What are your thoughts on Golos?
I'm not against people making money. I just find it strange that because people are unwilling to learn English, they give up on international exposure. Would you rather have your article seen and upvoted by 100,000 users or 10,000 users? Do you think the currency of a smaller network will fare better than Steem, which is currently losing value? Will any exchange accept Golos, when only two accept Steem at the moment?
Maybe you are right. I should probably sign up and try to become a Golos whale. And then cash out, before the Golos currency inevitably depreciates tremendously. But in the mean time I might learn some Russian - which I certainly can't speak or write well at the moment.
100,000 readers or 10,000 readers - this is not just about english or any other language , but so many factors (interesting idea, theme, writing style etc.) creates number of readers. The system of Golos will be little other. Here already a lot of information why and what exactly guys changed. Maybe, they are wrong, maybe it will work... who knows? Time will show. Just it seems that here some people are so jealous... Why? - that is a question))
If you're referring to me, it's not jealousy that I feel, but complete astonishment at the nationalistic (it's not patriotic) decision behind the establishment of Golos. Of course, this is just the front of a get rich quick scheme - you will see what will happen to Golos' currency in a couple of months, when it will be worth less than the already devaluated Steem.
You are right, we will see. But why not give a chance for guys?))
I honestly hope it works - Russia needs a free medium.
