Minnows tears
Once you joined steemit, your main aim is to know what you want to do on the platform, On so many occassion to be sincere with the little experience i have.
So many people joined steemit for the money but ofcourse steemit is more than just about the money.
Though the money is one of the main motivation to create content, if its not why then do whales create content, if its not about the money then whales are supposed to just curate quality content because even with that they earn something it might not be up to author reward though but because its not about the money so their aim everyday is to look for quality content to curate.
But as it is, its quite obvious many of us are here because of the money, fuck the etiquette many stemians yell to minnows everyday, we are not too different from each other, all we as a minnow needs is just to invest buy tons of sbd and power-up and yeah, since its about the money why not lease an sp and become a whale for 1-4weeks depending on how long your lease is gonna last.
Minnows are finding it difficult everyday to survive on steemit , the issue of exhausted bandwidth is something else, and i believe this is going to continue there are more rules coming to restrict minnows from participating in activities of this community kudos @olusolaemmanuel you can read his content.
He nailed it with some few point he is a good man and he has the minnows at heart.
If this rules keep coming in, then how is steemit different from what is happening in the world right now, steemit will turn to the survival of the fittiest, whereas that is not in my opinions what steemit stands for, the growth of a crypto is measured by its acceptance, but before that it has to have a number of actual human voting it in, if this rules keep coming the numbers of steemians will dwindle and we all know what that means to this crypto(sbd/steem).
Bitcoin is in a level where it doesn't need to convince people anymore, steemit (sbd/steem) is not on that level yet we need to encourage the minnows.
To the whales "minnows are your hype" because they are the majority, Ask @surpassinggoogle he will tell you the importance of having a full backing of minnows, Ask the witnesses minnows do the voting most times so what are we talking about? There will always be minnows the best the whales can do is to look for quality content from minnows and vote it, drop comment for encouragement so that they know you better.
A little hello from a whale to a minnow can mean a lot.
Pls do not discard minnows, they are essential to all our growth here on steemit.
People like @nairadaddy knows the importance of minnows so, they take their time to curate minnows content they even have a weekly contest to reward outstanding minnows on topic related to the clinic you can see clinic here
AIR-CLINIC
People like @artaddict @rufans @enjoyinglife @thelovejunkie @isaria are doing the bit they could.
Educating and integrating minnows to this platform is a great task, some steemain i mentioned above have ticked all the boxes in that aspect, but because they can't be everywhere all the time, therefore we take it upon ourself to create a pletform where minnows will be taken care of, i mean 24/7 response to questions, tutorials on different aspect of the ways minnows can use to survive on steemit, this initiative goes to the grassroot level, it assumes as a minnow you don't know much and you need a lot of help, there are competent moderators on hand who will attend to any questions asked, its a new initiative so all we ask is fellowship you can follow @steempioneers here STEEMPIONEERS whatsapp link
we also have the continuity class which is the i_rise network, this continues to monitor the growth of minnows, yes the i_rise network is here i_rise network whatsapp
i_rise network telegram
I am a minnow but don't plan to remain one so, you can come with me on this beautiful and smooth journey to success and fulfilment.
I do mostly everything, you can read some of the lectures we had taken from the i_rise network here i_rise network archive
Some of the work i think you should see
AND MANY MORE
Quite true. I commend your views and hope to feel your contribution and impact on #minnows in no distant time. Thanks for the blog and many thanks to @nairadaddy @steempioneers @artaddict @rufans @enjoyinglife @thelovejunkie @isaria and many more not mentioned on this blog.
I am still fairly new here, this being my 5th day. I get what you are saying, but would like to add a little perspective that seems to get missed by many.
The higher one gets in followers and steem power here, the more people will begin pulling at you. I imagine many whales who are active must have dozens to hundreds of people actively trying to get their attention daily. Some may be witty, most I imagine annoying. It would seem impossible for whales, and those close to being a whale to have enough time to acknowledge a fraction of the new people trying to get their attention.
To further compound this, the whales have already accumulated a ton of people who have captured their attention for quality content, enough that I imagine it is difficult for them to find time to even do these contributors much in the way of regular attention.
My final thought is whales probably at times have ideas they still wish to share, and being many of them have experiences here that a lot of us smaller fish do not, their posts often contain a lot of great information. In fact, it might be the most beneficial thing they can share, as it doles out something of value equally to any of us who are willing to invest our time into reading it.
Good luck to you friend, and may blessings continue to find you here. Please revisit this post one day when you are a whale and share your views on the points you raise once you have their perspective.
I like the way you break it down and make your explanation understandable, what can i say perhaps i will come back and make some changes... Thanks for dropping by cheers.
