I just asked Vitalik Buterin to join us here at Steemit.com ;-)
Come on Vitalik, don't be shy, we need you here!

Please DON'T let Vitalik Buterin near STEEMIT! His bastard forking ways are not wanted here.
AGREED.
$25B left unclaimed in the DAO says it all really!
STEEM====>STEEMC here we come if he gets near us! "Noooooooo!"
Whilst I appreciate your sentiment... Is it worth considering that he did not implement the HF?
He simply offered the choice in a democratic format, via a miners vote, and the majority of miners voted to HF? Vitalik had no power in the decision that was finally made, it was a majority decision, voted on in a most democratic fashion?
Don't get me wrong. I was (strongly) opposed to the HF as well. However, I believe it may have been an necessary evil. Vitalik has suggested, after we are out of beta stage, he would no longer offer the options of a HF. So that is something we can perhaps look forward to?
There is no smoke without fire - much went on that your comment does not state. $25B unclaimed in the DAO tells a story in itself.
Good luck. I suspect he won't take up the offer though.
Heh, thanks.
I agree.
However, I think it would be unwise of him not to. I mean, why not? He has a big voice on reddit.com, so why not #steemit? Seems like a natural progression...
If hes is, after all a proponent of blockchain technology, surely this would be the place for him, even if it is not a decentralized as he would like, it is perhaps more decentralized than reddit. ;-)
:)
How much more decentralized does it get? lol
Look, I love this platform.
I was linked to this peculiar article earlier today (who knows how trusting it is) by an Ethereum developer. In the interests of sharing and transparency, I will share this link with you...

#whales, please don't vote me down for this. I am a long term proponent and investor into the #steemit platform, and I truly believe in this protocol long term.
To be honest, I couldn't care less about how decentralized it is. I like the idea, I think it is a powerful one, I believe in it, and long term I think it will give all of those that don't currently have a voice, but something we can learn from, a voice as well as better future.
