Community engagement is incredibly important. If you have been paying attention to Gary Vee for any length of time you will also know that it is the cornerstone of what has made him successful. This even after setting up VanerMedia. He personally interacts with his audience and this is why a lot of people flock to him.

I am not yet operating at his level, since I sleep more than he does and I am not yet used to working 21 hour days. Although I would like to pay a little homage to this idea and I also want to show you what my 108 followers are up to. Here you will see 10 of the people I am following. If they interest you go ahead and see what they are all about.

@agsurrection is into permaculture. I am also into permaculture. I did not even know a permaculture guy was in my audience up until now. If you do not know what permaculture is then your descendants are in trouble. In short our current agricultural methods are stealing the life from our soil. Much like the governments debase our currency so they spend your descendants spending power.

In my country I am a marginalised minority, where my people are actually some of the best farmers on the African continent. We have different problems compared to the American farmers here in South Africa. Instead of the Government interfering in our farming methods with force they are abiding a communist style war while also mismanaging the water utility. This is a complex problem that I am not yet sure how to solve, and the political tension is palatable.

The point I am getting at here is that you should be aware of your ability to produce your own food, and your own yard can produce enough food for your family if you set it up properly. Your whole block could produce enough food for everyone in the block if you guys plan it properly as well. Personally I am vegan because of this reality. I was told once that it is impossible for a person to grow all of the food that he will ever need to eat. Last year I spent my time on a farm that is not on its way to disprove that sentiment.

@all.cars is an automotive designer doing both interior and exterior. He is really all about cars. I have a Volkswagen Golf Chiko 1.4 . Standard, I love the car. It is my first car and embedded into it is the experience of freedom. Further than that I like the Rolls Royce Phantom, but that is not because of the amazing engineering and design behind it. It is because it communicates prestidge and accomplishment. I find it amazing how automobile companies are able to embody an idea through their products. The seeming battle between Mercedes and BMW is a fine example of how marketing and branding can keep things going on for a long time. Look at what this has caused, the friendly competition between two engineering companies have spilt over into the social environment embodied as the same friendly competition between middle to high class people

@ammadkhalid is an 18 yr old, with 3-5 year experience in web dev, and 2 yr in python programmer and is learning SEO. This is right on my doorstep. I am learning python and webapp design to produce machine learning models in an effort to serve a market with data products. I am far from his experience level though as I entered into this space a month or two ago. I love seeing ambitious people, only 20 years ago an 18 year old would very rarely have experience in a skillset like this that could provide him a good income without extensive schooling. But here we are, Big respect to you, Mate.

@bilal-haider is another programmer. So I have a space for another coding plug, if you have read some of my stuff you will know that I am into accelerated learning. The thing about learning is that it is a system that relies heavily on feedback loops. The amazing thing about programming is that you have instant feedback. The code will tell you ''error ..brah; you are being dumb'' in an instant. which is far faster than wasting four years of your life on a useless gender studies degree only to figure out at the end that it is a useless skillset. You can teach yourself computer science in about five months if you spend two hours of your day focused on it specifically thanks to the fact of this instant feedback loop.

@bustillo has Interests in: Agroecology, Blockchain, Economy, Viticulture & Enology, Photography, Programing and Free Software, etc... yet another programmer.. we could start getting a programming shop off the ground with a few more of us. I cannot think of more programming plugs. welcome on the bus tho man.

@armageddonparty is Multimedia artist exploring sound, visual art, traveling, and is looking to connect with like minded individuals and groups. Hit him up if you are into those things. Personally I love music, besides the fact that it has been a good contributor to the fact that I am sane right now, I come alive in a studio. I hit the flow state when I am in front of a DAW. I miss it alot and would love to be in a crew that spent one hour a day getting lost in music. Although none of that is possible right now, so I will have to live vicariously through the music that I listen to. Leaving the struggle of my art to be expressed through my writing

@cryptoriddler likes photography and is quite the riddler. maybe we could start a riddle competition with pen and paper cyphers. That would be interesting, and total exposure of my geekiness.

@engindagli is a hunter and a traveler that likes to document trips in photos and videos. Hunting is not really something I am into. After eating plants for more than a year now blood has become something I am not accustomed to seeing too often. But like Immortal Technique said ''If you do not like meat then get off the planet'' Also in the words of Alan Watts, we are a mutually eating society and the civilisation is built up around trying to make that nasty reality good.

I find in today's world that everybody thinks that they need an ideology to go with their choices. This is not the truth, it is best to possess your ideas rather than allowing them to possess you. I would be able to go on a hunting trip and while everybody else is tracking and shooting animals I would be able to appreciate the nature around me. Allow yourself to be at peace even when you do not agree. In the beginning you will make mistakes like watching appalling things transpire before your eyes and over time you will be able to stand up against wrong without losing your peace. Now just to be clear, in my philosophy there are things called indifferents. This category holds in them all things that are not necessary for virtue and in my estimation a stance on hunting is not necessary for virtue.
