It's been one year since I've been on Steemit, Thoughts

16 May 2017. That was the day I created my Steemit account and started to dabble in cryptos and blogging on Steemit. I had totally no idea what blockchain was and how it worked. While I did not accumulate much SP the past 1 year due to life commitments, I've come to realize that blockchain is here to stay.

Steemit has since grown into a beast with more than 1 million registered users not too long ago, and I have to say, I'm extremely proud of all Steemians and developers who have contributed in one way or another to grow this wonderful community. Through Steemit, I've been entertained, amused, angered, and nonchalant. It has been one hell of a ride. With that said, I'm looking forward to year 2 of Steemit to forge more friendship, grow, and learn.

I don't know if all the efforts invested in the platform will eventually bear any fruits, but I don't want to be left behind in this new financial, economic, and digital revolution. I believe it's a matter of time before there will be a great adoption of crypto currencies and all hodlers will be rewarded for their commitments.
