Steem is more tied to BTC than everyone would like to think. BTC had a little rally and now it’s going down for least the day or two. While BTC was going down little while back steem had a very short rally due to it being listed on the world’s third largest exchange largest exchange. So there a little market correction over that.
CEO lately has been getting in front of the camera spreading the world about Steemit itself. He made an appearance on Bloomberg, was in Korea for an event, and I think a few other places. Many are waiting to see what Smart Media Tokens brings https://smt.steem.io/ . That could make holding worthwhile.
Than you have other competition coming around. While there have been a few in the past that no one really payed any attention to the next up and comer is called which going offer authors to run advertisements that pay them out in their cryptocurrency. Can’t really recall a great post on it so here are two.
