Long run hey, I see us moving in a direction to assimilate all the different benefits of each social platform. Already in one place we have everything from fitness tracking & blogs all the way to media hosting with DTube & DSound. We are now building out the mobile front pretty heavily, myself working on influencing Partiko to fully support DTube.

Steem itself as a coin has many benefits over others, free nearly instant transactions is the most notable. I imagine the day will come where Steem will be used as a transaction medium and will be a top choice for systems like a cryptocard linking your account with the card not requiring you to load a separate wallet rather it will pull the funds straight from your account as needed.

I have a positive outlook for the future of Steem, the only concern I have is with sustainability from a witness stand point. We will need to devise a way of trimming the blockchain or compressing it so that the consistent expansion of ram for witnesses is not necessary.

Quick ways, well for me there is no quick so this I am sort of at a loss and I really do not wish to give financial advice I would feel terrible for steering her wrong. Posting good content and getting it in front of the right eyes or working a second job is about as quick as it gets for me which still relates to a week delay on receiving income.

Most definitely Steemians will help, You could enter into as many contests and giveaways as possible to start off with and this should be fairly quick and mostly easy.

Starting a @fundition campaign seems like a good thing for raising funds for various different objectives and I imagine many would willing to contribute.

Don’t be afraid to reach out for help, I know in some cultures it can be seen as weakness but to me admitting you need help particularly in achieving your dreams requires much more strength then letting them pass you by.

No, I don’t believe you do get the VP back. I’m not certain if this has been addressed since the beginning of the year in any of the recent hard forks but my last experience I still required to wait for it to recharge normally.

I recently found out that receiving a delegation recharges your VP instantly which was a correction after HF20.

I think there could be fear of a spam attack, making it so there is no return of VP would stop someone from abusing the vote increasing strain on the witnesses and blockchain size.

What do you think are the projects on steem blockchain are going out of internet and being part of their lives.?? I mean the projects that are giving their users the personal touch. Also what do you think is the best way or innovative way to raise funding for such projects. I can keep on asking questions lol....

There are not to many making that personal connection with its users currently, most seem to do the opposite.

@actifit with its activity tracking would probably be the only true one making a deep personal connection within real life. Motivating you to stay active in rl so you may receive higher rewards or just the sheer challenge of achievement through physical activity.
@dtube and @dsound though grand seem to do the opposite bringing your life onto the internet but with sharing videos or spoken word the personal connection between online users is very deep yet other then the creation it’s effects on real life are minimal.
Many others I am not quite sure how they even would begin to relate to rl in any way though they have very personal touches. The exception being meetups but that also isn’t really focused on effecting people’s lives but rather drawing them further into the online social experience while attempting to raise visibility for what we are all doing here.

How to raise funding?

The obvious, create a token and sell it straight for fiat bringing more money from the rl financial system into the blockchain ecosystem. Using the MS social media platforms and ads has proven to be a lucrative venture with many fraudulent things such as Bitconnect able to raise massive amounts of funding for said token even if just for the sake of quick money.
My favourite, empower the people whom support the project with incentives to practice their word of mouth in real life. Also I have been considering asking people to make videos promoting their favourite projects and to publish those videos on all MS platforms, more users, more interest, more investment. Incentives could be complex with rules and guidelines to receive a reward or as simple as proof receives a @steembasicincome share. The SBI share works 2 fold where both the submitter and submitted receive votes for life on all of their works and works as further encouragement.
Most innovative, I think of the banking system. You are encouraged to save money in a long term savings account for increased interest yet while your money is locked up what many people do not realize is that they use your money to then give further loans, kinda like a Ponzi scheme yet because the banking system is nearly mandatory now it’s likelihood of collapsing is very minimal. I think a project that can do this, set people up with a plan for saving with interest aimed at things like retirement could really take off. It could even play through the financial system with locking the money into investments guaranteed to make its own interest then allowing the project to loan against the investment for funding of its own agenda. On top of that having a financial record of “tangible” money with no volatility could be used to build a case for approaching RL investors. I think of all the mysterious investors who have put millions into YouTubers knowing the future success of the platform, yet I imagine these investors choose to work only within the realm of fiat money sources.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer. Those are some amazing projects that you mentioned. In fact I was asking @ned same question couple of days back. Those projects which come out of internet and give people a personal touch will definitely win. How amazing it is to have your project in a person's day all the day long or make some of their moments beautiful. This is what happens with @actifit and @dtube especially. Also I like what you said about SBI. It is win win situation for everyone. Then why will not people incline towards it??. They will definitely like it and choose it. I'm looking forward to more such innovative projects on steem blockchain in future.

Thanks dude I tried my damnedest to give a fully detailed response. Both of those really are awesome projects bringing your creations into your real life.

I think the concern with SBI isn’t necessarily that they don’t like it it’s more that they prefer liquid crypto instead, pretty certain I’ll be doing that on my next contest as for those of us that believe in the platform it will work out better in the long run.

We are just getting to the good times, I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Great answer!! My stepdaughter lived in Halifax for a few years - her husband went to school there - and she loved it. We went to visit and it was beautiful.
For me, the only drawback is the cold. I left Germany because it was so cold and it is hard to beat the weather in San Diego. Like I am full blown gardening right now...
But everything else I hear about Canada is great...

Yea the cold can be a draw back and along with this time of year the weather, have to do much of my recording inside the house or car. I don’t know if I could manage without the winter season though as I totally look forward to snow driving 🤙

It comes down to the situation but the actual route of the word comes from religious use such as “god be with ye” as a blessing of sorts.

Many Venezuelans have had to emigrate to other countries because of the situation we are going through, but we have been affected by a lot of discrimination or xenophobia.
How can we convince people of what the discrimination and xenophobia are abominable acts?

Hmm convincing anyone of anything is nearly impossible unless they have an open mind.

Through history we can see that these situations of immigrants being ill received either works itself out over time or becomes more toxic.

I agree that those acts are disgraceful but it’s natural human instinct to be discriminate. It has taken many years for North America to appreciate each culture for what it is yet still we see the native people looked down upon for how they choose to live.

The only real approach you have is to speak out against it but then you must also be willing to stand your ground, think about Martin Luther King and his sacrifice for the African American population in the USA. Just do not take a route which insights violence because that will only add fuel to the fire and widen the divide.

A few years ago, many foreigners came to Venezuela to improve their economic situation and there was no type of discrimination. , today it is our turn to emigrate and we have been mistreated and humiliated. I think we all deserve the same respect.
The other thing is that we are not emigrating because we want, but because the situation forces us, the majority of emigrants from Venezuela have had to leave without a passport because the government does not want to give us our passports, the most painful thing is to leave our family.

I agree we all deserve the same respect but the problem remains around borders and freedoms to then be able to travel as needed freely. I for one am a supporter of the idea of a one world currency it would help those countries which have economical crisis as the value of the currency would not drop. The problem with discrimination with elimination of borders would subside but we still live in a world where they wish to divide and control us thus we would first need to evolve our current governments.

It’s a terrible thing to have to endure and sad to see it still exists in our world but places like the USA haven’t really gotten that much better. People band together behind their heritage and wish to protect their people which of itself is just discrimination against others even with good intentions.

Now we see what I call reverse racism where people claim the white race is being discriminated against. Honestly white people invaded the entire world at one point or another destroying many cultures and civilizations so we are just getting what is rightly coming to us.

I do hope you find a way of getting by with your life being happy and content but change does not come without its sacrifice, we must be strong and endure!

Give back through encouraging interaction with rewards, this post is a good example.

I feed my desire to help through answering questions while giving contestants a chance to win. As my rewards role in a small percentage is given away to show my appreciation for those whom interact with me. Furthermore I have started asking for help with searching out new DTubers whom have been overlooked or undervalued thus empowering my following with my influence, if I was not encouraged and supported I would never have made it this far thus it’s all in the name of giving back.
