You can Make a Difference

Hard Fork 19 (HF19) gives more power to the smaller Steemit users (Dolphins and Minnows). You no longer have to be a whale with millions of dollars invested in Steem Power to make a difference on the Steemit platform. Since the implementation of HF19 my upvotes are worth approximately 10x more! This allows me to reward users that I value and it allows me to shape the Steemit community in my own little ways.  

Incentive

After HF19 my article payouts are 10x more than they previously were. This a huge difference and will provide greater incentive for Steemit users to post high-quality content frequently. This enriches and attracts more users to the Steemit platform.

HF19 encourages user interaction due to the potential to earn a healthy payout for leaving comments. This encourages users to read articles and leave constructive feedback; benefiting both the person commenting and the author. 

Is it good or bad?

My personal opinion is that HF19 is a positive change as it provides more incentive for users to post good content and to engage with the community. Furthermore, news will spread about the healthy payouts which will attract more users to the Steemit platform, helping it grow!

The Future of Steemit

The Steemit platform has huge potential. Billions of people use and create content on Facebook daily for FREE. Steemit pays you for creating content and gives you the power to reward people for creating content that you enjoy. The incentive to use Steemit is much greater than the incentive to use Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media platform. Therefore, I believe that Steemit will overtake these platforms and become a part of our daily lives!
