Steem.link - First Feature Full Advanced Steemit short url service
I would like to intorduce the steemit dedicated short url service i just put up:

Was hanging in polo trollbox and pasted a link to one of my steemit posts, but link was so long that it got cut, that IS annoying. And this is just one example. So i thought there must be a steem dedicated url shortener! This is so convenient and you can monetize your links too.
You can shorten your link real quick, no registration or login is needed if you don't want to.

Added Facebook Login/Sign Up. Now user can login even faster. Upon first login - user is automatically registered. Permissions for Facebook app are standard - read only.

@cryptotony I am not sure you are the first, I think Steem.ly can claim that one :) However it's great to have some variety in urls at our disposal..

When I tried to login with Facebook I've got :
"App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions."
BTW. Why do you need all these twitter permissions ? By default I don't accept a request of data that doesn't feel necessary for the app to function..

You've been posting this creation of yours in every single topic. While I appreciate the service and see how it might add value to our ecosystem, spamming it in every venue you come across is both unprofessional and annoying. It makes the network and your service look bad.

There is no excuse, because it's common sense, AND you have exhibited
that already...Meaning that those were deliberately posted to attract attention to
this post, that also now know isn't even original content.
Signed,obfuscate-meOriginal content?? I never claimed the "Content" is original, but currently there is no other site like this(mean feature full) for steem url shortening.
@cryptotony: I appreciate all the hard work you've put into this. I really do, it looks great but I do have a problem with it.
In this post and on the website itself you're saying that this is the first short url service for steemit and that is not true. For the sake of transparency and truth, please take actions to correct this. Nothing personal (even though I created steem.ly) but the information needs to be reworked.
If next week it's not, I will post about it and also spread the word for the community to know.

As for service itself, i have to say that it is really a first short url service with bunch of features. So if the word "first" annoys that much - i can remove it, it doesn't matter. Btw, why didn't you post about your services when you created it??...
I think it's misleading. A shorting url service is a shorting url service in the end.

You modified it so I don't have the exact sentence you used on the post. I think it said - steem.link the first steemit URL short service or something. Now you've modified it for the Full featured thing.
Don't worry about it man, I wrote you in full honesty and good intentions.
And yes, the community at the moment needs to wake up a bit and get out of the boob/pot/bots pool.

As for disappointment - it's huge, trying this, trying that, but after all it's just about boobs and thaiti, and makeup on boobs, etc etc..
There are a few good posts about how to keep it together on steemit and that you need to keep trying. To be fair, I was also a bit disappointing when I saw only dan upvoted my steem.ly post. It was a lot of work and money that were invested in steem.ly and little roi. Maybe it even was bad timing. i don't know. I also had high hopes seeing that introduceyourself posts had 9-12-19k and I had about 200 bucks.
But I kept going man and it looks better. Really. Focus on what Steemit was built for primarily: Content, valuable content.
Think about it, create it and most importantly participate: vote and comment. You'll see the results in time. We all will.
Well, thanks for chearing, but be careful when you write the " I had about 200 bucks" for intro post, some ppl might consider you a whale :), making $8 for the whole project lol...
