Steemit frustation
I just realize I don't understand how Steemit really works... I get quite frustrated when i see a post that has no much interest or quality content making a couple hundred dollars when i have a hard time reaching 1$ for a post... hehe
That's when i realize I have no idea how this platform works... I was so motivated when i started because i actually saw a post from someone with a few pictures and not even an explanation or description about who, when or where those shots were taken and he got a couple hundred $ for it... I got so exited I thought I was going to be a steemit whale in no time... :)
Well, time has passed (not much) but i still struggle to get any attention or upvotes from anyone, I know i am not an professional writer or photographer but i think the content is not that bad... or at least better than some post out there that get unjustified hype... and that makes me think that there are some important stuff that i don't know about steemit... plenty of stuff actually...
so please! can someone give me some tips about how to get some love from my fellow steemians?...
Cheers!
A few things I've found (with the note that I haven't been here long and often don't break $1.00):
Cheers,
@dcj
Thanks mate, i will keep that in mind!
On your third point you said some tags are very busy and others are very empty... do you mean its better to tag on an empty subject cause the post stays longer on top or on a busy one cause more people will potentially read it...?
Probably perseverance is important too, just keep posting at least once a day..?
Two aspects:
So I think if you have a great post, make sure to include some of the popular ones. If you're more building out content in a new area, expect it to take longer to build a following. I've been trying to do a bit of each.
