Hi @nonameslefttouse These are great points for steemian to ensure the delegation/account for curations not being abused and also the curators not being abused too. Thank you for your concerns and ideas to make steem blockchain better for everyone.
These potential curators and those content producers who might "benefit" should be negotiating right now for a better deal. Not jumping with excitement the moment this organization with a shady, sadistic, and disgusting reputation begins dangling a dollar bill in front of their faces.
Those great content creators that never received upvote for their contents would be grateful with even 3USD upvote worth as you estimated. Agree with you potential curators and content producers should negotiate for a better deal in near future too.
Meanwhile that's only one curator who may or may not have even enjoyed the work presented to them. If they're just handing out money to make people feel good, all that becomes is superficial nonsense. Participation awards are a ridiculous concept. Eventually these folks become dependent on that handout. What happens when it's gone? These folks only working for money NOW and not a future will not be powering up and will not be able to support each other. I've see this happen countless times. But whatever. I got told to leave again. You guys can have this mess. Figure it out yourselves.
yes, this one curator might see art post is better than this one post about fiction story or post about philosophy. The curators should have wide/vast interest on every post category. Curators based on the category that interests them.
We should encourage them content creators to power up some of their rewards earning too because of this.
