Best of Steemit Wednesday: Original Art, Portraits, Advice, and a Time Paradox
Best of Steemit Every Day

Every day, I bring you eight posts you should think hard about upvoting and supporting. These are quality posts, well written and good examples of the best the community has to offer. Please consider checking them out, and if you agree, love them up.
Doing a little housekeeping here today. The Steem link has been replaced by a “My Feed” award for the most intriguing, best, or eye-catching-est post on my feed. I figure, heck, I’ve got over 300 of the best Steemians out there posting every day, why should I keep them to myself? Also we have a new serialized novel, eighty-nine pieces of artwork (not a typo), and advice on how to make those blog posts stand out from the crowd. Whew! On we go!
Today's Best
Writing (Fiction): Send Him Victorious, Chapter 1, Part 2 by @lordrocco. Some good writing here, and the serialized novel looks as if it’s going to be worth keeping an eye on.
Writing (Nonfiction): The Flight of Bumblebees Teaches Scientists to Make the Best Drones by @hicmaster. I remember when nobody could figure out how bumblebees stayed in the air at all. Now we’re using ultra-slow-motion photography to copy them. It’s the best of times. This is a good--non-technical--post on one of my favorite creatures.
Writing (Craft): Golden Rules of Successful Blogging by @cryptonet. Not all craft is the writing. Some of it is how we get the writing out there. After all one of my favorite quotes is: What’s the difference between a villain and a supervillain? Presentation! This post is for all of us dreaming of getting eyeballs on Steemit.
Steemit community: Amazing Tools That Will Help You On Steemit--Part 4 by @bmwaso. Holy...I had no idea there were this many tools out there. And this one is Part FOUR. A truly valuable contribution to the community by @bmwaso. Give it a look. I’ve already tabbed open a few of these I’d never heard of before.
Introduceyourself: Hello Steemians by @lewybut. A new student of medicine joins us from Poland, with a promise to post about things that happen in the movies that are, um, medically suspect. Can’t wait!
My Feed: Some Original Portraits by @dreamstream. The number of good photographers on Steemit is without number. I’m following over 300 people, and I think half of them are great with a camera. Here @dreamstream gives us four photographs of my favorite subject--people.
Drawing: Scans of My Drawings--89 Images by @romanskv. Anyone that’s going to post eighty-nine images of original artwork has earned my upvote, my resteem, my admiration, and a BestOf nod. Here’s to you, my friend!
Special Prize: If We Haven’t Been Visited By People From the Future, Does That Mean Time Travel Will Never Be Invented? by @waqasaps. I believe the answer to this question is “no”, but with reservations. It’s one of my favorite philosophical puzzles to consider. Give it a look. What do you think?
As always, suggestions for posts to honor are gratefully accepted.
Rules of the Best Of:
I don't like grammar and spelling errors. I make them, but I hate them. Unless the post is supremely brilliant, even a couple of these--especially in the title--will mean it doesn't make this list. NOTE: if you're writing in your second language, significant slack will be given here. When I write in my second language, I'm lucky if I can be understood at all.
Minnows--I am a minnow, and I'm all in on support for the newbies. Doesn't mean I won't curate a whale post, but it's unlikely. If your rating is over 70, you don't need my help (for whatever it's worth).
I don't do porn, however artful.
Original content only.
I take requests. Gratefully. But not for your own work. Push someone else into the spotlight.

Nice compilation ! :)
