Best of Steemit Every Day: Love Me Some Minnows

Every day, I bring you five posts you should think hard about upvoting and supporting. These are quality posts, well written and good examples of the best the community has to offer. Writing (fiction): Secrets and Confessions, Part 2 by @johnjgeddes. Good atmospherics in this one--not just because of the photo accompaniment--with excellent scene-setting. It's a good mood piece, and shows range on the part of the author.

Writing (nonfiction): The Power of Communication by @sashin. Usually a blogger on crypto (not that there's anything wrong with that), Sashin steps out here into a great piece on communication and why it's powerful--if you do it right. Kind of what Steemit is about, right?

Writing (craft): Become a Better Writer and Increase Your Rewards by @hitmeasap. An excellent post on the power of words and how to use them to get the rewards--yes, even Steem--by using them well.

Steemit and How to Use It Well: Can You Make A Living Creating Steemit Content? by @creatr. Have you been wondering what the answer is to this question? I bet you have. Creatr takes it on with five cautions, and five hopeful signs. If you read only one thing on Steemit today, make it this.

Introduceyourself: Because You Are A Fan by @theplayoff. Kind of an unusual introduction, but a very good one. I love sports, and I love minnows, and ThePlayoff is writing about the one and is the other. A fresh voice. Take a listen.

Ah, Heck With It, One More (Poetry/Music): Back Home Again by @tombalistreri. This is the first poetry/music honoree here on the Best Of, but I like the song, I like the writer, and it repays the listen. Give it a couple minutes.

I don't do grammar and spelling errors. I make them, but I hate them. Unless the post is supremely brilliant, even a couple of these--especially in the title--will mean it doesn't make this list.
