The Plot Thickens

Several weeks ago Britain's Channel 4 news began airing a scathing expose on Cambridge Analytica's business dealings. Which, has lead to the suspension of its CEO, an investigation into possible criminal actions by the company and a slew of questions un-answered regarding the US elections.

I happened upon this story on my way to work a week ago while listening to my favorite radio station 96.5 The Buzz. I have been doing what I can to stay away from mainstream politics for the past year. I have been doing pretty well too. Since hearing about Cambridge Analytica I couldn't help myself, but to dig deeper. Here is what I came to find out.

Making The Connections (Robert Mercer)

Robert Mercer, the reclusive billionaire who made his fortunate in the technology sector. You may have heard of him more than once. He is the main backer of the Trump Campaign and is the center of a multi-million dollar, ultra-right wing propaganda network. Mercer began funding the Heartland Institute in 1984 which has devoted its funds to back anti-science advocates and to dissuade K-12 graders that climate change is a liberal lie.

Mercer was the money behind Andrew Breitbarts, Breitbart News Network which aligns itself with the alt-right. Breitbart News has been accused of publishing a number of fraudulent stories, conspiracy theories and misleading news reports. Which also gave Steve Bannon former White House Chief Strategist, executive chairman for Brietbart and former Vice President of Cambridge Analytica his big break in mainstream media.

Mercer is also gave $10 million to Cambridge Analytica, an offshoot of the SCL Group which specializes in "election management" and "information Management". SCL Group is better known by military personal as a "mass propaganda company", that works to dissuade by acting on peoples emotions.

During the 2016 US Presidential election Mercer was the big money behind the Make America Number 1 PAC. The PAC claimed to have unlimited funds to be used however the Trump campaign wished. The PAC also hired the help of Cambridge Analytica to help further the goals of the Trump Campaign without the fund limitations of a traditional presidential campaign.

Since Alexander Nix's suspension, both Rebekah and Jennifer Mercer; daughters of Robert Mercer, have been added to the board of directors for Emerdata a mysterious new company created by Cambridge Analytica in August 2017(more on this later).

I will continue to connect the dots. From what I have seen and read it looks like the Koch brothers are highly involved in dealings with the Mercer family and his affiliates. The US Secretary of Education Betsy Devos and her Husband Erik Prince the founder of the private military company, Blackwater. Also, Nigel Farage the political figurehead behind the Brexit movement who was named by the FBI as a person of interest in the 2016 US Presidential election investigation into Russian interference.
