It does seem like Steem has a 'feel' to it.
Unlike the beginning days of facebook where people simply posted pics of themselves, Steemians seem to really dive into their intended subjects.
I've read fascinating things from master carpenters to offshore trash collection divers.
My hope is that the spirit stays this way and doesn't get diluted into a facebook-like state.

yes, I agree. As user base keeps increasing, this will be full of substance and fun. We will all live long and prosper :) in SteemWorld
The voting system will keep irrelevant posts in check. The fact that votes have value to them people don't throw them around willy nilly like they do with likes.
