18 Days and 111 Followers! An introspective on Steem

Let's be honest.

Just for a second.

We're here for the profit potential. There's dozens of social media/blogging platforms that have been around for a decade. Yet here we are, posting on Steemit, trying to get that sweet sweet Steem Dolla! If it weren't for the post rewards, would any of us start yet another account on another platform?

That being said, I'm certainly not complaining! In fact, quite the opposite!

Here's my stats in the first 18 days:

That's created a value for me of :

Nearly $80 USD! From nothing! Other than a few hours responding to and creating posts... Something I would've done on Facebook or Twitter anyway!

Most people on here are focused on talking about Steem, their stats, and increasing their sweet sweet Steem Power!

Let's all focus on creating and consuming GREAT CONTENT and the rewards will follow!
