Steemit Betting Community | Mission Statement
Steemit can be quite hard on new members because it has a very steep learning curve. As a group, we can make a huge difference in this regard by giving some initial support to new sports bettors that join the platform in different ways...
1. Making them feel welcome and Show There is A Community
Welcoming new accounts in group on their first couple posts is important. Steemit can be a lonely platform to start on, especially after the initial introduction post. Keeping an eye out as a group for new accounts that bring sports betting related content and giving them a warm welcome should give some a good motivation to really give Steemit at least a fair chance.
2. Giving Some Initial Upvote support
Starting out without any upvotes can be very discouraging. Giving new accounts the knowledge they can achieve something on Steemit with the help of the SBC should highly increase the success rate.
3. Offering Some Initial Guidance
Giving support by personal guidance on this platform, how everything works and what generally a good way of going about things is can make a huge difference when it comes down to giving someone an initial push to succeed on steemit. Having to learn everything by yourself on Steemit is a mountain many fail to climb. Taking some time to help new members out should make this journey much more easy. Everyone has to start somewhere and will get time to make improvements and find their way on this Platform.
Steemit is in the first place a social network where being social, making friends and grouping up has a lot of benefits. Unlike most other ways to make money online by publishing Sports Betting related content, Steemit does not require anyone to actually make profit on their bets. There are many different ways members can give and get some value from this community...
1. Posting Quality Content
Quality content is often something very subjective and difficult to define. I would say any post where some effort is put in to make it enjoyable to read and potentially provide some value to others or help yourself to really improve your personal betting can be seen as quality. This includes

First of all thanks to all of you for building this community und making it a reality on Steemit! I am not an expert but from the little I know I can say that SBC is one of a kind on this blockchain. Do you want to enjoy the free upvote of the sbcbot? Who doesn't? I enjoy it! But you should look beyond that advantage. Because there are more rewarding things than that upvote! I got warned recently by some random guy writing that the content of my post isn't good enough for this blockchain. @acelad stepped up and wrote a comment saying that there are people enjoying my content and I should keep it up! Thats was very encouraging! That happened because being in the SBC community gave me some exposure. Thanks again man @acelad !

You aren't the emotional typ of guy? You're in for the money? For the SBD? Well guess what many SBC members are organizing very rewarding contests and giveaways for instanz @costanza, @stiml1024, @beat-the-bookies taking care of the sbc contest and @fullcoverbetting SBC world cup contest.
If you're good, you can sweep up a good amount of SBD and maybe even win some SP to help you grow.

The biggest thing we want to achieve is to become a real community, convering multiple sports!
A community where everybody is welcome as long as everybody interacts! We all bring diverse and special knowledge/assest/attributes to our SBC community!
It would be great if we can learn from each other and become the bookies nightmare 😂!
That we support each other during losing streaks and prevent each other from getting into gambling related problems!
