Awesome stuff here @samstonehill I hope one day to be as influential of a user such as yourself... I am confident that I can achieve this through hard work and dedication to the platform. I wish I would have heard of steemit much earlier, but at least I am here now, and things seem to be blasting off for steemit as a whole, so I really can't complain!
Really stoked to see you undervalue both DGB and DOGE bc I have recently added both of these coins to my portfolio.. maybe one day I will take some profits and invest back into my steemit acct bc I am definitely here for the long haul.... The more SP the better :-)

And not to worry about your timing of entry here. We are still very much in the early days. Facebook was in Beta for a few years before it really kicked off...
I completely agree! Can't wait til my VP hits above a dollar... will be so much more rewarding for other users, as well as myself. I think 2018 is the year for steemit, we shall see ;-)
