MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jan, 2018 ) ::Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has decided to make Dubai Park model park to provide best recreational facilities to citizens. Talking to APP here on Saturday, PHA spokesman Jalaluddin said that a six-member expert team of PHA Lahore had reached Multan to visit different parks.
He said the expert team would visit six big and developed parks of the city including Ameerabad park, Shah Shams park and others to identify.
Jalal added that as per directions of the Punjab Government, Dubai Model Park would be made in Multan.
He said that a committee comprising experts of engineering and Horticulture would prepare PC-1 of the project. Funds of about Rs 20 to 30 million would be spent on the project, he added. He further stated that PHA Multan had already developed parks by constructing boundary walls, installing benches, lights and other facilities in the parks.
Jalal said that work was already continued at different greenbelts of the city to maintain beauty of the city.
