facebook isn't going anywhere for a long long time and if they were smart, which they usually are lol, they will create their own token and work on the steemit model.

I agree that it is the most fertile poaching ground for us and I do plenty of outreach there. My issue is that too many people on steemit focus on long form blogging content like you see on Medium. The problem is that Medium is barely relevant and that type of content is not what most people want to create and share. Most social media content is short and worthless. Short is worthless is how we will grow lol. We need to stop policing content here and encourage people to do as they normally do on other platforms .
