Need a bit advice. What is the best Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency wallet to use/have?

As a completely new on this cryptocurrency world, i have simple question, what is the best and most used "wallet" to have?
As i read, there are few different types of wallets, like: hardware wallet, software wallet, online wallet. I'm more interested about software wallet. Some say, that Copay is new user friendly and easy to use.
I would be very thankful for any suggestions to what wallet to use as a beginner. Sure, google is ful of this information, but mostly it's too promotional, so, i came to ask from honest opinions and tips.
As you can see, my English is not the best, but i hope you got the idea of my question :)

probably Exodus, but Electrum is also good, Jaxx..
