I've not read through all the comments tl;dr however unless authorised technically it is misuse of CopyRight (I would hope the Steemit logo is copyrighted?) now a fair few communities turn a blind eye to this sort of practice, if you look on places like Zazzle and CafePress you'll find zillions of people who've effectively pinched a logo, stuck it on a teeshirt, mug, mouse-mat, you name it. and are actively selling it for their own personal gain.
Given the profit margins are appalling low, as I said earlier, most communities turn a blind eye unless the individual starts shifting billions of units. Having said that, what I would be unhappy with personally is anyone doing this for personal gain! On the whole it's generally done to hand over all or certainly most of the profits to the Logo's owner or community to be used in the upkeep and general running of that service.
I would also personally be aggrieved if that person started promoting that item on the logo owners service! It's bad enough using someone else's product to enrich yourself without insulting them even further and promoting it in front of them. You might just as well stick two fingers up to the owner!
Downvoting: This is a dangerous capability of Steemit. There's always the worry that someone can take offence at a comment (As this would appear to be the case?) you've made and start a vendetta against you by downvoting you. The only good suggestion I have for you is to get in touch with the developers of Steemit and ask them to look into this problem for you. I have some bad ideas that involves the community and the Discord channels but that would really be ramping things up in the tit-for-tat game.
Best help I can give you is to resteem this and hope someone with some sense can pick this up and help you out.

I agree, promoting a shirt (which has not but the Steemit logo on it) on the Steemit platform is a bit much. Should not be tolerated.
If @Kaylinart was to have customized a design of her own this would not have been a problem in my eyes. I would not have said anything. But it was pretty clear to me that her entire post was meant for her own personal gain. If you read that post all you are reading is sale sale sales.
If she would have at least said that it was for a good cause because she wants people to be wearing Steemit merch to promote the platform, that would have been more acceptable. But to not have mentioned it at all says that she wasnt even thinking about that.
Then to be down voted 5 times was not cool. But as she said she thins I was "trolling" her. I was voicing my opinion.
Now I am gonna use her in a "how not to monetize your popularity" blog post.
This world lacks creativity. Everyone seems to turn to selling tshirts because they don't know what else to do. Nothing wrong with selling tshirts, but put some effort into the design and make it your own.
I was a fan of Kaylin until this post, the down-voting and deceptive responses from her. Gave me a bad vibe. I do not believe her at all.
You are clearly the victim of bullying (If you have been down voted five times by this individual?) I would report it if I was you. let someone with a bit more clout deal with it. Interestingly this would be an ideal thing for @minnowsupport to get involved with given their combined [steem] power? I feel certain they could influence a solution.

That was nice to see.
It did feel like I was being bullied. This is the sort of thing which will not exist on the Capital Pink platform. I don't like seeing people try to abuse their power.
Seems like everything is fine now, except for the fact that she permanently lost a follower. I'm all for being forgiving, but that does not mean everything will be as it once was. (life)
