RE: Starter pack for minnows

I have to say that the only one I truly agree with is commenting and upvoting 10 times a day (once you have enough power to vote at less than 100%, you can up this considerably!)

The others... maybe. If you're passionate about steemit, by all means write about it! But if not, you're going to have to create content that isn't that great.

I think it's most important to create quality content. Actually write and post articles, blogs, creative writing, advice, whatever you feel passionate about. If you're an artist, by all means, post your art, but add a few words about your inspiration or your process. If you're a musician (like my daughter), you can post videos, but try to ALSO add a few words about why you chose that song, add lyrics if its an original, etc.

Finding a niche/category to fit into can be important, but it is even more important when you're starting off to make sure that you post consistently. Not necessarily every single day, but more than once a week.

Be real, be yourself and by commenting and genuinely interacting with others, you will gain followers who are truly interested in your content.

I totally agree with you @byn. Every steemian can't be passionate about steemit, i get that. Finding a niche is the best thing anyone can do to be consistent on this platform also. Take me for instance, i post randomly. Been seriously thinking about a niche tho. Once again thanks for you awesome comments, highly appreciated.

You'll find your place. Just keep feeling around and writing about what really interests you. If you're at all interested in creative writing, you should check out the #freewrite challenge. It is a daily prompt that @mariannewest posts and you just write. That group has been a big encouragement to me!

Thanks a lot. Will definitely take a trip to her page to know whats up.
