STEEM Market Cap is NOT Important! What is important is that you just keep steeming away

Please do not get caught up in the hype of the price and market cap of Steem. What is important is the value of content that is produced on the Steem platform.

Websites state that the Steem market cap is currently $389 million at $4.39/Steem. However this is extremely misleading as it implies that there is an available supply of 88.7 million Steem.

Over 97% of all STEEM is locked up in STEEM DOLLARS, and would take 2 years to be unlocked.

The current available supply of Steem is actually 3.1 million Steem, putting the Steem market cap @ $13.6 million. Not at $389 million. By focusing on the price and market cap, you may just miss the point about Steem.

Do not get caught up in the price. There will be many roller coasters in our future. The best thing to do is keep your head down and produce valuable content.
