Why Steem Is the #1 Blockchain Technology
Shortly after joining the Steemit community (and learning more about the Steem blockchain) I realized I was onto something really special here. This is more than just a social platform that rewards users for their content and interaction; the entire network in all of its complexity is incredibly thought out and is prepared for massive growth. Today I'll share with you why I feel Steem is the #1 altcoin and blockchain technology out there. There's a reason why I continue to invest!

steemit is the way forward
The Steem blockchain has been up and running with working products for a couple of years already, but everything's only just begun. As you said, the steem blockchain, at its current usage is far from being 'congested' and still has a long way to go, it seems like it is a solid blockchain technology.
Many other projects, such as Cardano (I have nothing against Cardano by any means) although have a solid idea as well as a talented and motivated team at the end of the day don't have a working project, or prototype to show. It's all based on speculation, and could easily go to zero.
Although steem could also go to zero, nothing's impossible, especially with crypto, with the existing practicality and usability of projects built on top of the steem blockchain, where many of the users aren't even aware they are utilising a blockchain technology, and the potential growth come mass adoption from other social media platforms, steem sure does have a bright future in my opinion.

Right on! I've heard some refer to Steemit as, "The perfect way to introduce people to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology" because of the fact most users on the platform don't even realize how it works. They slowly learn over time which is a great way to get people excited about the new technology.
You mentioned Steem is still highly used despite the high volatility. Which is normal in my opinion, because the blockchain is constructed in a way that gives value through usage itself, apart from the rewards.
Exactly, unlike Bitcoin users which are dropping BTC because of the volatility. With Steem there is such an application in place that users aren't bothered so much by the volatility. Of course, Steem isn't called the "Gold of Crypto" either lol.
I am a big supporter of blockchains that provide real usage value, other than through the crypo itself. The engine should be the blockchain, not the crypto.
However, I don't easily dismiss bitcoin for two, maybe three reasons:

Yes we can see that steemit is like something we have never seen before . As a new steemian it looks great to invest and more importantly safe investment . so that is why it is growing so fast . People are investing without hesitation. and probably after 1 or 2 years it may become worlds no 1 social platform and steem may become highest cryptocurrency .
. Hope to get early success in steemit and become a part of this family.
