I thought I'd post this little trick: I've traveled far and wide to figure out how to format stuff to the right of the page! I wanted to format an image to the right, and wrap text to the left. I finally found it, using the <div> tag:
<div class="pull-right">[picture.jpg]</div>
You can also use "pull-left" to put the picture on the left. Just so you know: In order to do these tricks, you need a small-size image. (Not a full-size image.)

I hope this helps someone out there!

Excellent, thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you for sharing the mark down style guide. I really needed this for my posts for making them to look better. The overall look of a post also helps to attract viewers.

I agree 100%. The better you style your article the more likely your reader will come back to your channel. Glad this helped. :)

Thank you for sharing this. I am new to this platform, and just on my last post I was trying to search for this type of info. . I find this very helpful, and btw, I do watch your videos @brandonfrye on YouTube. Wanted to thank your for those also. I will upvote... and already follow

Thanks for the feedback @pickyvicki, I’m so glad this helped. I look forward to providing you more useful content. :)

Wow Thanks For Sharing! Keep Them Coming!

You're welcome. Glad that was helpful! :)

It Was More That Helpfull.. It Was GGGGRRRREEEEAAAATTT!! Lol

This post has received gratitude of 4.51 % from @appreciator thanks to: @brandonfrye.

Hi @brandonfrye hope you had a great weekend.
I must admit i have had to dust off my old html coding since i joined here. But i do note that not all code for html works here. I guess ill just need to experiment some more with it as well as try and learn some more of the markdown shortcuts, but i must say they both are very similar.

Yeah, I've tried several things in html that just didn't work which forced me to look into the Steemit markdown guides. These are probably the most commonly used but there are a few more. Hope this helps.

Love it man! Per usual you are helping out so many people with these kind of videos.

Markdown was a learning curve for me for sure but the more you play with it, the easier it gets.

Nice little cheat sheet though, I'm gonna keep this one handy :)

Thanks @jongolson, yeah this is probably the most complicated thing people face on Steemit. Especially if they don't know that the editor exists lol. But some things you still have to write in code (like tables) so this should help a lot. Thanks for the feedback as always! :)

Oh for sure, it all helps. Hey got a question....Your account should have that little slider right that decides how much you give per upvote? What level did you get that at? I think I remember you saying around 500 SP?

Great question. I believe I got it at around 500 Steem Power but I'm not 100% sure.

This is a tool shed of handy info.
Helpful post, copied the list.
I have lost two articles in a row to pasting errors and I am down...for just a moment..
I have finally decided to stay on Busy, there editor is a far safer bet for me right now.
Brandon, thanks for the handy list indeed!
Pertinent support for this very moment*
Lynn

That's good to know. I'm still planning an in-depth review of Busy and that will be one aspect that I cover. Anyways, I'm glad this list helped! :)

That will be cool,
I am proud to say that my 4th post got 100 votes, and carrying a nice reward,
Over night, the voting went crazy...before I went to sleep, it was at about $7,
Then, I guess I got tail splashed by a orca or Whale, and when I got up,
It was 108. Then the voting just stopped cold?
I would have been happy with just 8! but for this to happen...
I am again amazingly grateful for your imput and support..I have applied your suggestions, plus some Gorilla marketing skills, mostly developing a rapport, with those that I follow, and follow me.
I just wonder why It stopped after exactly 100 votes?
Never the less, I'm happy!

Oh...
I voted you as a Wittness...when you finally get there...remember the plankton's and minnows~*

Pssss...I am a baby whale disquised as a Plankton...(don't tell anybody;)
Lynn

Wow that’s awesome. Congrats!

I’m not sure why it would’ve stopped exactly at 100. But it probably stopped there just because it had cycled out of your followers’ feed and came off of the “Hot” section. Mine do the same thing typically.

And thanks for the vote. Who knows!? I might just have to setup a server. ;)

Yes, start planning early....it might come faster than we think

You've shared great information about Markdown @brandonfrye.

This helps every beginner who don't know about Markdown or the one who just started with steemit.

The Good part is that you guide newbies in Video as well.

This is my old post that I've written about Markdown. You can check this one as well.
