Money For Nothing, Clicks For Free. Installment 2

This is going to be a short but sweet post about testing bots, results, and Steemit.

I tried Minnowpond bot and was very pleased with the results. I sent them .05¢ and got .10¢ of upvotes in return. I can't argue with results like that. I will use it again, along with estabond IF I decide to include bots in my plans on Steemit. Spoiler alert - my plans drastically changed.

I mentioned the Feed Your Minnows Bot by Oleg326756. It works. Follow the directions and you will be pleased with the return on up to two posts a day for a week. .05¢ investment per week and up to 14 10% upvotes per week. You can't beat that. His posts are interesting so that is a bonus. I will continue using his service.

Now for the rant. I am sick of seeing my posts get a nice amount of upvotes and bot return on the first day only to see it diminish until payout. An 86¢ post going down to 72¢ with no downvotes within three days is discouraging. This happens every post. The explanation is usually that steem/sbd value dropped so your payout did too. Bullshit. I watch the value of steem/sbd drop along with my payout, but when steem rebounds over the next day or two, my payout remains depressed. No rebound for my payout. It seems those upvotes just go to the big steem blockchain in the sky, never to be seen by me again. I am tired of that. No matter what, 40% of the earnings for every post is lost - 25% to curation, which is fine, and 15% to the steem blockchain gods as tribute. Can anyone give another explanation for this occurrence besides the same old, "well, steem went down" line. How do I counter the loss? What have your experiences been with the mystery of the diminishing payouts?

I noticed the amount diminished value on my post as well. I was .03 from hitting a whole dollar and in two days it was down .08 . It's a little disheartening. I'm scouring for good bots as well but sticking with the more reasonably priced for now.

You sent them 5cts and got a 10cts upvote. Correct me if I am wrong - isn't that only breaking even, because I thought we get only 50% of the payout from the upvotes.

I tried estabond - and that's how I felt.

I also tried socialbutterfly. Their minimum is 0.002 - a lot cheaper and you get more out of them.

True, but the rest you get in steem power (a scam in my opinion) and steem. Steem is liquid like steem buck dollars, but you cant touch steem power for 13 weeks.

So confusing - never mind. :-) Let me know what you think of socialbutterfly if you should decide to try them.

I will give them a try. I may not post today, probably tomorrow, so I will give them a try. The trick seems to be send small amounts to bots in order to get the best returns so they fit the bill.

Okay. No rush.

Bots bots bots-I feel they are too complicated to understand.Maybe one day I will try them when I start posting regularly and try to make some steem from this place.

My strategy on them is evolving. To be honest, my entire opinion of steemit is evolving.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

Can anyone give another explanation for this occurance besides the same old, "well, steem went down" line.
It should be occurrence instead of occurance.

Thank you grammarnazi!
