How much is enough?
I want to buy in, and power up my SP. How much will he enough to give me a bit more weight? Will something small like $50 be a good starter, or because of the compound nature of the system, is it better to load in a few hundred and reap more rewards?
Great question! I would say it depends on what you are comfortable putting into the system for 2 years. The more SP you have, obviously the more interest you receive along with higher rewards. So, basically what you can afford to part with.

I don't think there is anyway to know for sure how much weight you will need to buy in to reap in the rewards.
It's all relative. If he wants to part with more..he will have more SP. If he parts with less..he will have less.
