I disagree with almost all points you have made here....

1. Free-market isnt the distinction you should be making here - you should be stating that there are low barriers to entry in crypto trading markets. Even the stock market is a free market, that is a SIMILARITY.
2. There ARE a ton of bots that dominate markets -- working right into #3 here
3. Those bots that dominate a LOT of markets, ARE the SMART MONEY.... Dumb money just follows the smart money and then gets gutted after the fact.
4. Quick settlement and Arb... the arb has not been a selling point in crypto until Bitrated came about and allowed for a more verifiable way to arbitrage trades. Settlement... meh, yeah...

I feel like you left out a few HUGE points... How about the low Transaction fees, they are pennies on the dollar compared to a normal investing account. With high volume trading (like some nerds attempt) you get rekt just from fees alone. The fact that you can trade and pay a fraction of what other investment contracts cost, catalyzes with point 1 (free markets), and enables point 2 (the bot plague)....

And what about the high level of transparency into your own accounts, and the free mobility of your assets/liquidity factors?

These are all factors that allow amateur investors the ability to make a fortune from following strong trading practices in these markets. I dont mean to come off insulting at all, your article was thought provoking, but I feel like you missed some of the biggest macro factors that crypto-markets are driven by.
