Interview with the creator of Steem Team

Dear followers 

Welcome to my interview with @diabetic-man.

What is your real name? 

My name is Chacho Jones. 

What country are you from?

I was born and raised in the United States. 

Where did you hear about steemit?

I discovered Steemit while exploring 'coinmarketcap.com' At the time STEEM was up to about $2.15 USD, this was very interesting for me because I didn't have to mine it to earn the coin. I could earn STEEM by blogging so I gave it a try..

Are there any other reasons you joined steemit? 

The first reason was to start earning and trading in my first cryptocurrency.
The second reason was to promote my youtube channel "Workout Diabetic Man". 

What are your ambitions within steemit and your personal life? 

At this point I am just experimenting with Steemit, I really have no ambitions other than to become filthy rich (laughs).
My only ambition at this time is to connect with other users and to build relationships.

What job are you practicing besides posting on Steemit? 

I am currently working a part time job with a software company that focuses on building web applications. We use the php framework laravel to do so.

How did you come up with the idea of the facebook page: Steem Team?

When I joined Steemit I saw that some users, the high ranking userse get most of the attention. I wanted to somehow gain the same attention. Naturally I thought of facebook.
I didn't have any friends using Steemit, that's when it came to me... Make some new friends!

What ambition do you have regarding the facebook page?

I would love to see the Steem Team group grow to be what I planned it to be. Which is a place for users to post Steemit links and the group members all boot that Steemit posts ranking through upvotes and resteem. The potential power the group has is undeniable. I understand that most of our members lives are busy and that not everyone can take part everyday but being loyal to the group will pay off.

Do you think its possible to mainitain a fully functional page? 

I really do, once the group becomes a bit more developed I can see it managing itself. Users engaging on eachothers posts on their own, boosting Steemit content and recruiting new members to the group. 

Future perspective: How are you planning to organize the page once it reaches overs 1000 members?

Having over 1000 members would no doubt be a challenge. Even so using the built in group features I think we could do alright.
By Using documents, files and maybe polls we could offer assistance. I don't think we could provide the same type of assistance as we do now with posting links. That would only flood the group wall.

Opinion:

This was my very first interview I have ever given. Personally I do think that there is much space to grow but I am glad I could finally swipe that first checkmark on my very first interview!
