"My 100 days journey here in Steemit": [0.100steem Giveaway + 1.000SBD in contest]

The important event in our life is always celebrated once in a year, like birthday and anniversary which will take 365 days to engage.

But I can't no longer wait for 365 days to celebrate my journey here in Steemit, because today is my 100 amazing days in here.

Looking back more than a hundred days, a very enthusiastic good friend of mine, @meetmysuperego never stops persuading me to sign up in this online blogging-crypto thingy that I have no interest at all, haha! Thanks for being persistent, I owe you! 😘

Being a newbie is a real struggle, in my introductory post I only got 0.03. 😂😂
But I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome, good vibes and encouraging words from fellow Steemians.

Days passes by and cents are still my earnings, until I found the #dailyfoodphotography contest of @howtostartablog while Im reading some blogs.

Which I received my very 1st reward (.500steem) in my very 1st entry in the contest, in my 1st week here.
Above photo got the prize 🤗, I am one of the 3 chosen winners. Since then, I was motivated everyday to post and to join in the daily contest.

Thank you @howtostartablog for initiating your contest and for always patronizing my craft.

Also, I won't forget the very first time when @surpassingoogle and @bayanihan trail noticed my blog and since then, each day they upvoted my post.

My travel blog "Time Travel in Intramuros" was recognized by @ocd and nominated in the daily top 10, also belonged in the honorable mention in @steemitworldmap both for the first time.

"Matcha Ice cream", was also my 1st winning piece in the famous @juliank's @photocontests.

Another travel blog I posted was my "Solo flight" in Leyte which was my highest earned post so far.

As you can see, I am not having much but not bad for a noob like me.

Enough to have my very first cash pay-out converted in my local peso currency: 5,000.00 Php.

Interesting and overwhelming to lay in my hand the fruit of my labor.

It was early Christmas season when SBD hit the peak, luckily I still have some in my savings and able to exchange for the rate of 12 USD = 1SBD.
Much to buy some Christmas gift for my family and little shopping for my self, haha!

And...

Booked a decent accommodation amounting 3,624.60/night in our December travel in Manila with @meetmysuperego and @youngblogger24 with some other friends as our get together. 😊

Last January 11, 2018 I purchased a new phone, the Samsung Note 8. Thought, its an installment plan I was able to pay for the 25% of the total price all from my Steemit earnings. 🤗

Never regret in having it, all-in one gadget in my hand. Very reliable and useful specially in my steeming stuff like this.

If you could notice my profile I am joining in many photography contests in here. 1st because photography is my hobby and 2nd its easy to participate in such contests and prizes are also great, which become also a very big part of my journey here in building my account.

In @brumest's #monomad daily challenge, I won few times with 1.000steem prize.
@darthnava weekly themed contest is also great in giving away 5sbd per winning entry.

As well as, the generous @asbonclz promoting steem engagement food photography contest is amazing with 5 winners each round,rewarded by 1sbd each and some consolation prizes.
Luckily, I won 3 consecutives in a row and invited to be the guess judge in his contest. Oh by the way, if you want to join you can visit here.

To sum it up, I am just all other newbies that faces ups and downs in here. There are times I almost discourage when my post are not being recognize and earned only cents or worse 0.00.
Sometimes being confused on what should be the so called "quality content post" to gain high upvotes and be notice by the whales because I saw some effortless blog but gained alot.

Its my 100 days... I dont have a thousand followers nor a thousand steem even not a thousand dollars in my account but I gained more than I thousand knowledge, interact and be friends from other side of the world greater than a thousand earnings and hoping that this amazing platform will leave over a thousand year to be a legend and inherited by the new generations! Long live Steemit! 🤗♥️

So...as my way of saying thank you to this platform Im giving away .100 steem (it is not much but it could help in some ways) for every "interesting comments" in the comment section bellow.
