The term "Iron Curtain" was used by Churchill in a 1946 speech and remained in use until fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 (and eventually collapse the USSR in 1991). Yugoslavia (in green) had not been occupied by Soviet Forces in WW2 and remained largely independent. Communist Albania aligned with China in 1960 after the Soviet-Sino split.
I'm entering my own contest. The Cold War was truly a global phenomenon, with the US-led Capitalist and USSR-led Communists having many proxy battles all over the world. Many of these battles were not 'cold' at all. There were civil wars all over the place, with lots of bloodshed.
