Steemit is a hell lot better than any other platform and I am going to tell you why!!
Steemit is a combination of Social Media and Blog. Various other social networks can be used as blogs like Linkedin, Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook and so on. So how is Steemit different than all other platforms?
Lets first discuss Blogging platforms!
There are tons of different blogging platforms competing against one another to prove that they are the best. They give you all sort of fancy stuff like drag and drop builders, hocus pocus plugins, landing pages, e-commerce compatibility and what not.
Even worlds largest search engine (Google) has its own blogging platform.
A blog is just like a digital diary where we note down whatever we want. Some people use it to share their perspective on current affairs, some write about sports and media, some write about science or religion and I write about marketing and how to be successful online!
So a blog in today's world is extremely crucial when it comes to “having an opinion”. But why do most of the people start a blog?
To make MONEY online!!
Isn’t it right?
So, let's discuss how can you make money with your regular blogging platforms? You write stuff, get more visitors, get ads on your blog and when someone clicks, you get paid. Simple isn’t it? Hell No!
It is easier said than done and blogging takes a lot of efforts and you need to know a whole lot of stuff from basic HTML to SEO and blah blah blah… and you know the worst part, even after learning and applying all this shit there is no guarantee that you will even make a single dollar online!
Whaaaaattttt?
Yeah! There are tons of ways to make money online but none of them are beginner friendly. You will have to try and try and try till you finally make your way.
Apart from that the only ways you can make money is to either get an advertisement on your blog (sell someone else’s stuff) or sell digital or physical products (sell your own stuff). But the people are evolving from ad blockers to ad blinds they are doing everything to not get sold and hence the market is going nuts. Ad spends are going up and conversions are going down.
This is where Social media comes into the picture. Brands think that since they are not able to sell their stuff through their website, they start promoting their products and services online. What happens next? People post stuff which their audience doesn’t wanna see and hence their organic reach decreases.
Here is how Steemit stands out!
Steemit lets its users post valuable content which their audience likes. There are no ads, no products so no bullshit… Just pure content. And here comes the best part… when your audience likes what you post, you get paid! Yes… your success depends on your audience.
Help the community, help your audience, give them what they want and you will get what you always wanted but could never get from other platforms.
