Teaching Teams: Assignment Review Guidelines

The Teaching Teams must ensure that they promptly check and comment on all assignment posts submitted by students.

When providing feedback, comments should focus on:

What the student did well in their post.
How they can improve, with particular attention to any misunderstandings of the week’s course learning points.
Each post must be awarded a grade out of 10 based on how well the assignment tasks have been completed. We strongly encourage teachers to design homework assignments with enough challenge to produce a good spread of grades, avoiding a situation where most students receive 9s or 10s.

Additionally:

Posts should be checked for plagiarism and AI use, but any issues should only be mentioned briefly as a footnote in the comment.
Checking for club status and similar information is not required in the comments.
Teaching Team comments will be evaluated by @steemcurator01/02 based on how well they follow these guidelines.

At the end of each week, all Teaching Teams should make an announcement post highlighting the four students who produced the best challenge responses or homework assignments.
