Project Leadership 2.0: Forging the Paradigm Shift with Steemit

I anticipate the conclusion: we are going to practice Leadership 2.0 ourselves, using the collective intelligence that emerges from participatory platforms like this. We are practicing Leadership 2.0 here, at this time, each of us (some with more awareness than others, obviously). We must only use our faculties to start the paradigm shift.

How do we achieve this paradigm shift?

The first thing is to understand that the possibility of reverting (and having control) of our reality depends on ourselves, on our ability to make rational decisions. Never stop dreaming of a better world. Being self-critical, humble and sensible. Being aware of our power. Making our participation in this community contribute to the establishment of common sense, of basic values, of hope, of life. Participating. Creating. Generating knowledge. Working as a team to find solutions. United. Understanding that each one of us is an active and important neuron in this collective mind. Aspiring to overcome geographical and ideological barriers. Until we become citizens of the world, responsible with the environment, with our families and with the future of our next generation.

That is why we need to give vigor to the epiphenomenon of the collective mind that manifests itself here in this noble community.

This is not achieved from one day to the next. But we can begin to consolidate this type of leadership 2.0 (as attitude) from today. Here. For that we must be vigilant with our formal leaders. Be attentive. Conduct social audit. Investigate their trajectories. Hear their proposals. Identify (and point out) their grandiloquent, empty and false speeches. Determine the coherence between these discourses and their works. Follow up their executions. Make them understand that we are no longer passive consumers of their contrived speeches. Demand respect for the laws. Demand measures that guarantee our future quality of life.

Each of us, from our small virtual space, can help change things. There is always a future and the quality of it will depend on us. Dreaming. Participating. Contributing. Creating. Trusting that our collaborative intelligence will make things easier for us. Aspiring to live in a better world. Overcoming the ideological divisions to become ourselves in first class citizens in a world of first.

The future of that collective intelligence, which will allow us to assume the leadership 2.0 and change things, is being forged here, today, in Steemit.
