Lately, I’ve been getting A LOT of private messages on Discord and Steemit.chat from people who are asking my advice.
And really often what I can smell between the lines of their words is the desperation to get as much crypto on here as possible.
Or they get aren’t even trying to hide and come out with it straight away!
How can I get seen more?
What can I do to my posts to get more upvotes?
Is that a good niche to go into? Is that a great way of making $steem?
And really, I am getting a bit fed up with it all.
BECAUSE THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT!

IF YOU ARE JUST YOURSELF AND WRITE ABOUT THINGS THAT YOU LIKE, IT’LL ALL HAPPEN ON IT’S OWN
MAKE FRIENDS
INTERACT
BRING AUTHENTICITY AND GENUINENESS TO THE TABLE
JUST BE YOU!

Well said. I have an interest in many things and like to discover and share a variety. I know we all want to create financial freedom, but more importantly is to live with passion and being yourself. You will always find those that connect to you. I have had some great discussions on here about poetry, art, food, crypto, writing, photography etc. There is so much to share and learn about one another that can make this a great adventure. x

I think the most genuine way to make more steem (after being yourself and over thinking it) is to just buy Steem with extra income. People spend SO much on useless stuff and you could easily be putting $10 into your steem account a week instead of buying processed taco bell junk, and then you can use your steem power to promote what you acutally care about (which is great advice, a cliche but true because cliches often are cliche because, they are - true)
I think budgeting could just change peoples lives - by the end of the year investing $520 into Steem by not buying tacos could help out so much.

I view it like this - I can either buy a pizza slice or have more steem power. I bet it will continue to compound in value in time. So glad you like the song by the way lol.
I love it!! Authentic human interaction is indeed the key and I have observed that in the Whales that interact with their audience and comment on the good ones that enrich the discussion, to the Orcas and Dolphins that stop by their communities and advocacies and give hope and inspiration to the minnows.
Even minnows who are struggling to extend their reach are doing something by interacting.
A lot of new members @steemitfamilyph ask me the same thing. I always give the same answer create good content, interact with those that commented and turn followers to engagers.
A lot of people who join Steemit think by posting any content and then tagging a whale will give them instant riches. They are the ones who are bitter and say that the whales are biased. I would ask was your content the best you can do and not merely a placeholder post for votebegging ( ok I never say the 2nd thing) and most often they would say it is what's trending.
People don't realize that even if we don't see them face to face the truth can be seen in between the lines, the word choices and images they use and the feeling they put in it. If it feels fake people will not respond to it.
I have not found the easy way of getting noticed and earning because each post I make is a labor of love and a reflection of who I am. Each interaction raw and uninhibited and with no judgement to the individual. It is hard work and it time consuming but anything worth it is done through those two concepts.
I always love reading your thoughts thank you an awesome human.
Yeah, they are so many 'beggers' and 'letsgetrickquick' people on this platform who just DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT!
But also, I see a lot of people who are doing the right thing.

I've been blown away by Steemians willingness to help and by all the things I'm learning by interacting. Did you know, for example that a pupae and a chrysalis were 2 different things. I didn't.
Did you know that there is such a thing as frozen flower art. Nope. I didn't know that either.
Going after the money sounds like a chore to me. I'm excited to bring my best self and just enjoy the experience and, as if by magic, I'm making money too.

This is a hopeful post. The competitive edge feels a little archaic to me. I like the idea of staying positive and authentic and trusting that abundance always comes from that. Lets move out of scarcity mindset into abundance, being genuine and trusting that unforeseeable good is on its way through all the seeds being planted!

Basically, put your thoughts on Steem and steemdollars behind curtains. Stop thinking too much. Write what you like. Write what you are expert on. Do it consistantly every day and the money will automatically flow your way . Even if it doesnot there is nothing to lose.

Coming together and interacting with quality content is what can make us grow on steemit and not begging for upvote here and there.

You know what helps? Putting yourself as invisible. Then they don't know you are online haha
Even if I do put myself in the invisible mode, They will still leave the post for me to get. I was thinking yesterday that there should be a way to delete their messages.
