Bots, Bots, And more Bots,
There has been a lot of bots on my site that respond to my posts. As much as i appreciate the attention that they draw to the post I have a problem with the fact that it is a unhonest way that people can swaying things. Has anyone found out how to fix some of these bot problems that steemit is having?
They do seem to get detected. I notice that most bot posts are now hidden, and you need to click on it to view. It's annoying but all part of the growth and learning of this organic environment we call steemit :)
I hadn't noticed that but you seem to be right that they are hidden now. Thanks for the info.
The developers are working on a fix at a moment. They will start implementing a reputation system where if you spam you will not show up on feeds.
Im curious as to where that "Spam" threshold might be.
I think it is going to be measured by repetitive same postings or if your posts & comments keep getting flagged.
