Hey Ned, first of all thanks for the update. It would have been better with the detail explanation about the root cause. I am pretty sure the 30 software engineers in your team are great to resolve the problem, but don't forget there are also really knowledgable and talented software experts around Steemit, and you could get great help from all of them. What you and your team think cannot be always 100% correct when it comes to software architecture and security. Please be open, get the free help from the gurus who are willing to help you to resolve the problem and enhance the architecture just because they love Steemit.

My thoughts exactly. There are a lot of very clever technical people on this platform and I'm sure there are also people who could help communicate to users, test systems, report bugs and support issues for the good of the platform and at no cost if only they were "in the loop" with the core steemit team a bit more.
